PROJECT PORTFOLIO

“Faust_Reimagined” · 30s Animation

Context: This is my artistic exploration of the Weimar Theme Year 2025: Goethe’s Faust. In light of my upcoming move to Weimar, I am examining the timeless relevance of this work through the lens of a highly current topic: Artificial Intelligence.

Concept: The 30-second animated film simulates a generative AI’s attempt to logically process Goethe’s “Faust”—a work filled with human abysses, emotions, and philosophical ambiguity—following a clear command (objective=TRANSLATE_GOETHE_TO_ALGORITHM).

The Insight: The attempt must fail. The AI, designed for logic and data processing, “crashes” when confronted with the vastness and depth of human experience. The SYSTEM_FAILURE is therefore not a technical defect, but the core statement of Faust itself:

// Last_Log_Entry:

“Here I stand, poor fool, and see

I’m no wiser than before.”

Transfer: This project visualizes a core paradox from my thesis: In a world that is becoming increasingly “logical” through technology, the feeling of understanding the core of human experience is diminishing. AI is a powerful key to knowledge, but it remains a tool—it cannot replace the wisdom of experience.

BAR Reha-Navigator Explainer Video

What began as a side task quickly evolved into a primary focus and a passion project. Tasked with creating a tutorial for the “Reha-Zuständigkeitsnavigator,” I dove into the world of whiteboard animation and discovered a new field of creative expression. This project became the centerpiece of my work, allowing me to take full ownership from concept to completion.

The true innovation of this project lies in its modern workflow, seamlessly integrating a suite of tools. I used Canva for custom graphic creation, Adobe Premiere Pro for sophisticated animation and editing, and the AI-powered Eleven Labs to generate the professional voice-over. This multi-tool approach allowed for a highly customized and efficient production.

I am proud that the final video is now featured on the official www.reha-navi.de website, where it serves as the primary tutorial for users. The project was met with great satisfaction and praise within the organization, marking a successful transition from a small assignment to a high-impact, flagship piece.

A Composed Reality: Spring in Linz

This video not only captures the visual awakening of spring in Linz but crafts its acoustic soul entirely from scratch. A unique artistic decision defines this piece: no original, on-location audio was used.

The entire soundscape is a meticulous composition. Every sound from the rustle of leaves to the distant echo of the city was chosen in post-production and placed with precision to evoke a specific emotional and atmospheric impact. The result is a hyper-realistic yet artful world, designed to immerse the viewer deeper into the scene.

"Like a Hippie on an Island" Documentary Film

I joined the production team as a production assistant for this 38-minute documentary by filmmaker Friederike Weber. The film explores the complex theme of freedom through abstract questions and experimental nature scenes, featuring diverse voices and perspectives.

My role involved providing on-set support and assisting with production tasks during filming in Frankfurt am Main and Gmunden, Austria. The documentary was officially selected and screened at the prestigious Ars Electronica Center in 2024.
